Sportshall Athletics

The Sportshall programmes were developed to provide a safe and enjoyable introduction to athletic skills and sporting activity, whilst catering progressively for the needs of the developing child. The wide range of activities and events within Sportshall incorporate and encourage the development of the core fundamental physical skills at the heart of the Primary and Secondary curriculum.

Sportshall Skills (for ages 4 - 16) The Sportshall Decathlon provides an ideal introduction to the most popular Sportshall activities. It is an ideal way to monitor fitness, set goals and build athletics skills which are the core requirement for all sports. Sportshall Skills are the first step to gaining British Athletics Awards or to participating in Sportshall competition. Sportshall Infants is a play orientated programme catering for the 4-7 years age group.

Sportshalls’ flexible team based competitions are ideal for School Games projects. Catering for both Primary and Secondary ages, Sportshall competition offers fun along side a serious pathway for those wishing to pursue athletics goals.
