Sportshall event rules are used for this exciting challenge. Core throwing skills are developed and tested using the appropriate resistance weights for each age group. Designed for teachers and coaches, these easy to use PAKs contain full event details, performance tables, and Graduated measuring mats so a full class can be accommodated during one session.

Sportshall Equipment

The England Athletics Med Ball Challenge is an initiative to promote the development of Throwing activity in schools and clubs.

Suitable for children aged 9 to 15, there are five kinds of throw: Forward Pitch, Chest Push, Soccer Throw, Overhead Heave, and Shoulder Fling. Each technique is used in various ball games, or athletics throwing events.

The concept is ideal for PE lessons or club training sessions, is easy to set up and can be done indoors and outdoors. It is inclusive, suitable for all abilities and excellent for talent ID.

England Athletics Med Ball Challenge PAK A This kit enables children to participate in the England Athletics Med Ball Challenge. Supplied in a carry bag, each set contains 1 each 1kg, 2kg and 3kg Medicine Balls, 2 x 10m Graduated Measuring Mats, Peg set, Activity Cards and Ring Binder.
