After the young athlete has ‘put’ from the kneeling position several times, he or she can then progress to a basic position for a standing ‘put’. The young athlete stands up from the kneeling position and pulls the rear leg closer to the front leg as in the following illustration and performs this basic standing ‘put’. WEB COPY ©EVEQUE
